Shunsuke Miyatake
Founder / Cultural Producer / Photographer / Community Builder
Shunsuke (“Take”) Miyatake brings more than 20 years of experience across creative strategy, international development, behavior change, partnerships, and visual storytelling in Japan and Southeast Asia.
He began his career in advertising at ADK Japan and later led ADK Cambodia, before moving into work focused more directly on social and public impact. At Impact Hub Phnom Penh, he supported Cambodian content creators through Media4Impact. At 17 Triggers, he developed social behavior change initiatives with organizations including WHO, WFP, PSI, RTI, GRET, and Cambodian ministries. Most recently, he worked with UNDP’s Digital, AI and Innovation Hub, connecting Country Offices, innovators, governments, and development partners around Digital Public Goods and human security.
Today, he leads itonami, bringing together listening, walking, gathering, photography, and storytelling to notice what others overlook and create new possibilities with people and places. He is also the founder of the Phnom Penh Photography Collective and co-founder of ART4FOOD.
His work keeps returning to one question: what makes us human in a rapidly changing world?
